hello
I have insatlled a A108 burner.
in nero I am unable to burn dvds. in the wixard the dvd options are gryed out, in the manual mode the dvd option isent there.
I have uninstalled and re installed nero it still dosent work.
using nero info it tells me that the system aspi layer isent insatlled is this the problem?
the system is as follows
xp home
512 ram
40Gb system drive
40Gb storage drive
I have 4 ide slots and the system is set up as follows
1de 1 master drive (system drive)the stroage drive is set to slave on this ide port
dvd burner on ide2 set to master
dvd rom set to master on ide 3

Upgrade your ForceASPI to 1.8 (find its download page in google).
Clik in the instaspi icon.
Upgrade your driver firmware in pioneer's web site.
Uninstall nero and install it again after upgrading aspi and driver firmware.
That should do it.
