So my xbox started acting up the other night. I was just wondering if anybody has any suggestions as to what may be wrong.

When I turn my box on with the chip turned on the power flashes on, then off, then on, then off, then a beeping noise comes from within the box and the light on front goes frag. Funny thing is that when I turn the chip off everything seems to work fine. I checked the chip alignment and everything appears to be ok. I'm also getting a lot of dirty disc errors now with the original games.
