Somebody Help! I have a mod chip and my system wont reconize it now, its been working fine.

I have a chameleon mod chip and 120 gig hdd. I've been using with no problems for a while. Now, all of a sudden, when i cut the xbox on it just starts like a normal xbox and won't bring up my mod menu. Is there a way to reset the mod chip? What am I supposed to do? Please help!
