Resizing FINAL VOB files to burn to DVD

Anyone know how to resize a VOB file? I download a DivX file and then use TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 to convert it. I then use IFOEdit to author the DVD. When I burn it onto DVD, sound and video is excellent but it's in full screen and stretches the image... so, i need a way to change the VOB file and modify it to a "widescreen" look so when I burn it it will look just like the DivX file i downloaded. Any ideas? In TMPGEnc I set it to VGA 1:1 (standard default) and when i mess with that it wont convert properly and wont display video/audio.... my only guess is modifying the VOB files... any info would be great or email me @ ididntreadtherules@afterdawn.com or pm me on MSN at the same e-mail addy... thanks
