That is a VERY general question...

What specifically are you trying to backup?
What mods do you have to run it on the PS2?
Are you putting it on a PS2 drive?

FYI, "copy-protected" is not a forum-friendly phrase.

i.e. Are you backing up a disc that you own?

I use AnyDVD from SlySoft.

Works great, no a prob. so far.

OK. Now we are getting somewhere. HDLoader and HD Advance are claimed to have twenty-some countermeasures to prevent copying. The best thing to do is download a backup from somewhere. Others have done the work for you.

I went to filemirrors tried a couple but they wouldn't load on the ps2 (v.4) It said please insert a ps2 disc

Some instructions would do you good. If you did not modify TITLE.DB then it will never work. PM me with your email and I will send you a guide.

Also, do you have a modchip installed? If not, a backup that has been downloaded and/or burned will not boot.

How do I copy protected playstation 2 games. I'm trying to backup Spiderman 2 but it won't do it properly, It is protected with Libcrpyt. DVD Decrypter of Alcohol 120 won't do it.
