backing up DREAM ON SEASON 1&2

Having a problem backing up the new dvd of "DREAM ON" season 1&2. Tried DVD-dycrpter ,dvdShrink , and dvd43.They play, but there is still some type of encryption in the back-ups that is affecting picture quality.The odd thing is that my copy of DVD X COPY EXPRESS Gold, makes perfect back-ups! Any ideas?
