Hi, I have a Audigy 2 ZS and 7.1 speakers. Everything works beautifully with PC generated sounds, but I cannot make the card play 5.1. sound from the cable Tv receiver. It's a Comcast Motorola receiver, with a digital out coaxial. I connected it to a coaxial/toslink converter via a RCA digital sound cable. The converter is connected via TOSlink cable to the Audigy 2 ZS optical input.
I get only stereo (left/right) sound out of my speakers, and the card does not detect 5.1 input even when the broadcast is 5.1
Anybody has suggestions?
