Hello,

I bought a new dvd game for ps2 and want to back it up since it is expensive and don't want to risk scratching it.

I obtained the disc utility soft to extract the original valid id numbers from the dvd but it does not load in my old ps2 (I have an antique, the V1!!!!) although I just bought the new PSTwo.

So, despite I cannot load the disc utilitiy, also I can't get the number from the image I created in my HDD. I used disc patcher and disc insertor in a IOP file with no success.

I would appreciate someone to help me.

Tks,

Tlaurientz

You can only get the id from the original via the id util, or from an ALREADY patched image.

I am trying to get it from an original dvd game that I bought. My problem is that when I make the copy of the Disc Id Utility .cue to a cd it does not load into the Ps2. The screen remains black and nothing happens.

I got this file ~DVD_Disc_ID_Utility.zip~ that contains a file ~rebuilt.iso~ that when I open it with isobuster it contains:

System.cnf
Data (folder)
Dummy.BIN
Dummy.000
Zpadding.BIN
0Padding.BIN
Sles_666.00

What should i do with it?

When I try to burn the rebuilt.iso file with DVD Decrypter it gives me this message

E 19:06:02 Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 31 - The semaphore timeout period has expired.

Yeah, your supposed to burn the rebuilt.iso, not extract it. Do you have the latest version of DVD Decrypter? If so, use some other program to burn it.

Master,

I did not work with Alcohol, it is sayin that there is a problem with the burning process and to report to technical support.

Where did you get the files from? Ps2tools.tk?
