Hi All

I have converted a few divx/xvids to dvd format now and have been pretty happy with the result.

I have 4 hours of woodstock footage in 2 665mb divx format files (see avi codec details below)

What I am wondering is how can u figure out how big your DVD encoded file should be to get maximum quality (considering the quality has already been dropped from that of DVD due to compression), does tpmgencoder just default to filling up a whole DVD no matter if your original divx is 50mb or 2000mb

I only ask as I will put the whole 4 hours on 1 DVD if there is not much difference in quality than if i split the 4 hours onto 2 dvd's

Any explanations and advise much appreciated
