Does anyone know how to break or damage a ps2 game without scrating the cd b cuz i need to return it but wont if the disc is scrathed badly! PLEASE HELP

Maybe a razor sharp nick on the TOP of the disc, cutting through the print and the metallic layer, going in any direction other than from center to outside (probably more believable if a straight cut perpendicular to this). I reckon that would break a disc good, and wouldn't be immediately obvious...

The closer to the center of the disc the better too probably, that way you will probably stop it from booting, rather than having to play the game through to find what you've damaged...

forget the sun, use a lighter to burn the bottem quickly.
use magnets aswell to screw up the sectors.

For a start, a magnet won't to squat to a stamped cd as far as I understand. And he'd be doing it because of a stupid returns policy some store has where returns are not accepted. As far as I know, stores are legally obliged to at the least give store credit on returns, but hey, if the game "doesn't work in his system", they would have a clause about games not working if they are "undamaged". And laying it in the sun might work, but again, on a stamped disc this would be questionable. And a lighter would probably be out of the question because of scorch marks...

Maybe another option would be boiling it? That might warp it into not working... Or even better yet, putting it through the dishwasher? Polycarbonate cups are made of the same plastic, and they absolutely HATE the dishwasher... Don't know about the label, but the screen printing should hold up ok. Test it with old AOL cds I suppose.
