Please Help!!! HD Loader Pissin Me Off

I got the US HD Loader and a Maxtor 80g HD. I installed everything according to the directions. HD Loader starts up and copies my games onto the HD. When i try to play the games off the HD it just freezes to a black screen. What can this be from?

i just figured it out. You have to change the setting to mode 3 on some games. I only tried 2, burnout 3 takedown and madden 2005.
