Service Pack / Nero Problem

I installed the service pack 2 and now i can only burn at half the speed of my burners max. I have the same proble on two different computers. One is a sony vaio which i used to be able to burn at 2x-max and since the service pack i can only burn at 1x. The other is a new dell laptop it has 8x burner but it only burns at 4x. I think the service pack effected Nero somehow.

It is wierd because the nero on both computers says it is burning at max speed but it only burns at half the max. I dell has the newest version updates from nero and sony doesnt so that is not the problem.

What can be done to fix this problem?

When SP2 update came out Nero had some problems with it -- but it was corrected promply on their web site with a newer version -- You didnt say what version of Nero you have -- is it OEM ? -- ?

You may have to do a complete un-install of Nero -- use Nero Clean tools on your PC -- then re-install all the 5 bundles (except InCd if you dont need it of course.)
