I am on 1mb ADSL.

Have TorrentStorm set to use ports 6881-6999

These are enabled on my firewall/router and fw to my pc address

I have set TorrentStorm to allow 100 connections yet I can't connect to more than 25 or so other peers out of thousands.

Getting a max of about 2k downloading but upping at 15k

This is really really p*ssing me off now.

Any help would be greatly received.

Try using a different client. I recommend Azureus, as it will do a scan to see whether your PC is configured for optimal performance. Also, I would check if your ports are forwarded correctly. Also enable UPnP!

I am wondering how can you tell what ports to open.I went into my routers firewall and forwarded the bittorrent ports 6881-6889,but still I get the yellow status in Azureus.I can get green status in BitTornado,but why not this program.I was wondering should I type in Azureus as the description in my router or leave it say torrents also.I am getting frustrated with this program also.I know Toiletman you are a big help,but I am lost on this issue once again.I have never had green status in Azureus,and can't get anywhere with it as of yet.I am using satellite connection also,could it be from this internet connection.
