Help Convert Component Vid to DSub?

Hi,
This is blowing my mind. I have searched high and low and can not come out with anything.

Here is my situation. I have this Epson PowerLite S1. It is capable of displaying HD video signal from compostive video cables. The catch is that you can jnot connect the component video cables into it. you need to buy their special 6 foot cable for $80USD. Then you can plug one end (15 pin dsub, like a monitor cable) into the projector and the other end (3 component video calbes) into your device.

My issue:
The projector is mounted on the other side of the room as my screen. I am ruuning it now with a 40 foot S-Video cable but recently got HDTV and want to use the projector to its full potential. If I move the cable box over to the projector then I would have to move the amp, dvd player and everything else over. If I do that then I will need to rewire the entire room.

I want to somehow either make my own dsub to componet video cable (I solder and have the skills and know-how to make it happen but I need a Pinout) or buy a reasonably priced converter. I dont think that spending 80 bucks on a crap converter just to add rca converts to plug in the component video cables is really a good option.

Can anyone point me to a component video 2 15 pin dsub converter or a pinout diagram for this?
