PAL for mat on my HTPC.

edit- typo in the the thread title, its pal FORMAT on my hdtv. heh. heres my Q:

I recently got the movie "House of Flying Daggers" on DVD and it is only available in PAL format at the moment. (Correct me if I am wrong).

PC Software of course have no problem playing PAL, so instead of getting another DVD player that can play it I decided to hook the computer up to the 16:9 HDTV.

I just wanted to know how if it was possible to play this PAL movie and see it EXACTLY the way it is was intended, in correct PAL resolution. And if so, what resolution do I set on my PC to play it? Any other information would be helpful. Thanks.
