sounds like you bridged a couple chip legs. go back and make sure there is no solder connecting any 2 things that arent supposed to be connected together.

already checked for bridges, there doesn't seem to be any, but now when i start it up it doesn't do anything for 15-30 seconds and then kinda does this thing where it clicks a couple of times and sounds like its gonna boot up, but doesn't the screen still remains black, and i've tried entering commands from the controller, but it doesn't work, anyway thanx for the info nelswick, and anything else you can tell me would be appreciated. i think i'll check for bridges again later.

I am having the same problem too. Check my thread from a few days ago. I checked my conections and everything, but I did notice something timex that I am going to try tomorrow. I have been looking around and people seem to be using alot thicker gauge wire for the 3.3 and ground. I think they are using like 20 awg or something. I also did notice that there seems to have a ground issue going on. When i hold the board down and try to turn it on sometimes it does come on. I will check it later this week and see. Please keep me posted as well....btw I have same version and chip as well..
