installed aladdin chip and no a/v just green flash?

Hey I just installed the super aladdin live chip on 1.6 and when I turn the system on I get the green led flash like normal then it just flashes? No red green or anyother color just green, and the dvd-rom wont open at all either?

yes I resolved it, checked all connections and solder splashes, then shortened EVERY wire as short as poss.
