i just bought a pioneer 108 at newegg and i started to have some problems burnning my dvd's (usually when using nero6.3.1.6 it would burn the data however if i tryed to verify the data it errors. when i tested burning tdk cd-r it also failed the verification however my old toshiba cd burner can verify the cd . does this mean that my dvd burner is defective? the dvd burner has a firmwear 1.1 but i dont think it should be having problems. is there anything i should do to test it more or should i return the dvd burner?
also when i burn a bunch of move files on a dvd-r it has trouble playing some of the movies however if i put the dvd-r in my other drive it plays the movie kind of jerky and if i copy the movie to the harddrive again the video moves really fast like it on fastforward while the sound stays on normal speed.
any sugestion
