If someone could post a link that could aid in installing a modchip (for what it's worth it's a CHIPMOD modchip) It would sure help out a young grass-hopper like myself. thanks

Im looking for maybe a detailed diagram or easy to understand text on installing a mod chip . I've never done it before and Im trying to gather as much info as i can before i try to install.

i would suggest that you get some practice soldering to very small components before you attempt to mod your ps2 as a mistake could be quite costly(like a new ps2), get your self an old circuit board that has small comopnents on it to practice on first because if you make a mistake on that it don't matter, you will also need a very fine point soldering iron and would recoment the use of flux and getting some desoldering braid

well peeps if u never installed a wired modchip then do u can screw up ur system if done wrong i would stay with the slide in chip not the solder I"m speaking as a modifying company owner :))))
