I want to mod my PS2 (I have a V1-V7 PS2) to play US/JP/EUROPE games and back up games . May you tell me what is the best chip out there? And will the chip be ship alone or with wires included?

In my experience the Magic 5 modchip has worked the best. It has only 12 wires and the soldering is pretty easy and the wires ship with it at most all places you buy from.
