Playing games that got a "Error" message from HD Loader ( Help please )

I'm trying to backup a game, specifically ( Devil May Cry ), And I was wondering something, At around 74% on the installation, it had said that It had encountered some "Disc Errors" and said if I wanted to cancel or continue.. I decided to continue.. after the installation was finished, I decided to go ahead and play to see if it worked fine, so far I've encountered no problems, sound, graphics, etc. But I'm wondering.. does this mean I'm okay? or will there probably be some problems further in the game? Thanks in advance.
