I have a LITE-on SOHW-832S, and i can only burn at 8x and 4x, i was wondering if there is a way, to change the burning speeds through new firmware or something. Thanx Gog0

Selecting the burn speed is most normally set within the software being used. What are you using?

I'm not exactly sure how a hacked firmware is going to help slow your speeds.
