ive heard that you need to swap magic ver 3.2 to use backups on the new slimline ps2 but you can only get swap magic v3.0 pal so only the americans and the likes can use the swap magic method now i need to pay £90 for a mod chip or is there another method

you can get v3.2 for PAL ps2's but if you can hold on for about a week or two then swapmagic v3.3 should have been released by then

Are any modifications required to use Swap Magic with the slim ps2, or can you just load the Swap Magic disc and than the backup like a regular flip top?
