i got my ps2 on ebay when i got it wouldn't read unless i loaded a game about 25 times. so i sent it to my uncle to get fixed and he got it working just by cleaning it then he said that he tried to put a mod in and the ps2 dint play ps2 games play dvds and didnt play ps1 games now it plays ps2 games but not ps2 games(this is with out the mod) he thinks the laser isnt calibrated or somthing else is wrong i think i might need a new laser but dont know

please, help if u know any way to fix it.

hello... get a new PS2 and never buy anything from ebay the stuff there r all broken and dont work! i bought a car and it took a year to ship it to me! and there was no motor, no engine, no stering weel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just the body of the car
