i am a complete newbie to xbox.

i installed an aladdin advance version 32 into my version 1.0 xbox.

i have no idea how to flash it and thats my problem.

how do i flash it? and what bios should i get? i have seen MANY but i dont know which is best for this chip and my version of xbox. all i want to do is beable to get my xbox to read my dvdr backups and cdr backups.

also i just installed this chip, once i flash it is there anything else i need to do? do i have to install something? or is it like the ps2 modchips after i flash it?

I used the executer bios 4873 or something like that which is a pretty good bios.I bet there are better bios builds out now,but still it is a alright bios.The main thing is just getting a bios on your chip so you can pick up a cd-r or dvd-r.Then creating a evox disc.I think you can find a good bios for the chip you are using at http://www.x-b-o-x.net it is a register site,but still has some good stuff for the Xbox.I know http://www.xbox-scene.com/ also is a good place to look at guides on modding your Xbox.Hope this helps you out a little bit account.
