My buddy's old chip crapped out on him, so I replaced it wuth a new one. An Aladdin Live for a ver. 1.

When I turn it on I get error 16. Clock problem.

So does getting to this error mean the chip is working correctly and now I just need to fix the 16 problem now?

If yes, I hear Evox D6 will work around this problem. Is it possible to flash the chip from a CD, with error 16, or do I gotta get my hands on a USB flasher or something to do this?
