"The playa" question...

I just made my first divx.I used this soft-
ware: 1)Smartripper 2)DVD2avi 3)VFAPI
4)Virtualdub 5)Graphedit 6)Lame 7)Nandub

The avi's(divx) are perfect when I use
media player...but "the playa" has a problem
...sound problem.When I use "the playa",the
sound is out of sync and totaly screwed up.

Any suggestion?

Plus...I can't make a good back up :/ Maybe
is my old recorder but I can burn other
things...no divx files though :/

Any help/suggestion would be extremely
appreciated.Thank you for your time
