hey wats up everybody. Now im not sure if im threading this in the right category, but hey , ima give it a try. i recently just installed my new nec 3500a burner. Now, i installed it as secondary master, and my samsung dvd rom as secondary slave. So my question to you guys is, with me installing my burner as secondary master, is there a difference if i wouldve installed it as primary master. Does the way i have it configured ( as secondary master) affect speed or performance in anyway. Does it read or write faster on primary master?

Any recommendations or comments will all be dopely appreciated........

Thanks alot,
Bush and Anibal Sucks

You'll be just fine the way you set it up :)

A similar query for the same drive. I have set mine up as a Secondary Slave, as the original dvd-rom drive was set as Secondary Master.

Does this matter at all when it comes to performance etc? Or would I best swapping them around?

You'd be best served by swapping them. The burner needs priority for best performance :)
