Im looking for a standalone dvd recorder that will function the same as a sky+ box. I do not have sky but would like the ability to time slip recordings and record programs to hdd and disc using tv guide function. I would also like to convert old vhs footage to dvd. I was looking at the panasonic E85 but ive read some bad press lately so any good products out there please make me aware of them.
