I have a thinkpad T30 and somehow the sound driver uninstalled itself (or other software make it happen). I have already downloaded the latest driver from IBM and installed it several times, and still get the message "driver was loaded but has not been started" in the sound properties at control panel. Is this related to driver signature for microsoft? During the installation the system aware that the driver is not signed but allow the instalation if I choose so. Anyway, I don't think that there is a soudmax signed for microsoft for this machine. If this is the problem, is there any way to full windows and make it thinks that the driver is signed?
Please anyone help me!
