What's a PS2 format disc?

After I burned a PS2 game using dvd decrypter. I tried it in my PS2. The screen on my PS2 now asks for a playstation 2 format disc. What does that pertain to?

your ps2 format disk is a ps2 original game. your ps2 has to be modded to play backups. is yours modded?

yes the best way is to have a flip top. you don't need to instal a modchip just a new cover(only takes 10min to do and is very easy) and then you use the swap magic disk that come with it. flip top is around $30us with the disks or $19 without

Also what about the software DVD wizard pro? It says I don't need the mod chip when I use that software... is that true?

this is where I got mine from and they are in stock now. most places are sold out. you need to check what version ps2 you have and order the right one


version 4-7

the site will tell you how to check the version.

this site is canadian and might show canadian $ amount but you can order and ship anywhere

dvd wizard is a scam you always need a mod writers cant write the pressed dvd info

you have to search for a flip top version 1-3 I don't know of any off hand but I am sure if you use google you will find them.
