My Computer Won't recognize my XBOX

Ok... I'm super stumped.. I can't get my computer to recognize my xbox at all... I'm using the avalaunch dashboard w/ flashfxp as my ftp program... I have my Laptop connected wirelessly to a router w/ my xbox hardwired to the same router... an internet connection is also connected to that same router..

I've tried a million things but it just doesn't seem to work... I can ping my "localhost" but it won't ping the box... I don't know what to do.. Help please!
