Okay I would just like to start by saying this post has nothing to do with dvd shrink or decrypter and probably shouldn't be posted here what-so-ever.... BUT since I like you guys sooo much ...since you are sooo helpful and since you guys are just so damn intelligent... here goes nothing!!

If i go to watch a movie or say a visualization or anything like that full screen on my monitor I get these lines that go through it ...very annoying...! now i have talked to a few different people and the only thing that i have been told that makes any sense is that its probably because i don't have the proper drivers installed for my specific monitor ... (which i don't just the default windows xp monitor drivers are running... I think) I don't think when i bought my monitor that it came with a driver disk.

I don't know if there is any truth to this (doesn't make any sense to me) but i was also told it could be because my monitor is an LCD monitor...

my monitor is a 'Gateway FPD1530' that's all that i know about it.... but it would be really nice to be able to watch a dvd with this nice bright flat screen lcd monitor in FULL SCREEN...

furthermore ... people have also told me ...oh there are many sites where you can download free drivers for whatever.... but i have never successfully found/downloaded/installed the driver i need for this monitor...

Any help with this would be more than greatly appreciated... Sorry that this is being posted where i am posting it...but i have always had my problems solved here quickly and accurately ...so i am hoping this one will be solved as well even though it's off topic ... and maybe some advice on where i should have posted this thread... now that i think about it maybe the "safety valve" would have been more appropriate... sorry...

but thanks.

...Just another stupid question with a simple answer...that's me!

Safety Valve is no more appropriate than the Shrink forum. I'll move this to Other PC Hardware for you :)

Also keep in mind that sometime it takes a while for a response. If nobody responds in a couple days and you feel your thread would be better in another forum then pm me or another mod and we can move it for if we agree it'll be better in another forum.
