can any 1 help me ive just got a ps2 with a swap magic disk and slide card and now ive got some games on my hard drive i have a plilips dvd+rw and i need to know what are the best programs to use to copy these disk's to be able to play on my ps2 ive got 1 burnt game with my ps2 which was gta san but it only play it black and white
well u can use dvd decrypter or nero worked for me i suggest nero or if u want to burn a game with online u can follow this http://ps2nfo.com/on-line.html but i suggest just going to nero click dvd then copy disc and wham u got ur copied game
if it's black and white, you got a NTSC version on PAL tv or vice versa.
You can use the swap magic cd with toc refresh function and change the video mode to PAL or ntsc(wichever region you're in)
to toc refresh with swapmagic, you must have v3.0 or higher, load up your swapmagic cd and select the video mode you want, then press eject and insert your swapmagic dvd or hich toc orignal ps2 dvd based game, press eject to send back in, you now get a message saying refreshing toc, when that is done swap for backup by flip/slide and press x
opps i dont have swapmagic, v3.0 i have the 1 below that so the game plays like this because it's been copy'd from a usa back up thanks for that info it's good to see people help,n each other any 1 no where i can get swapmagic v3.0
when i load just the swap magic cd in it say's load a ps2 format disk in !!!!!! the cd 1 dont seem 2 work when the swap magic dvd goes in it plays black and white
now i understand you are saying that you can't get swapmagic cd to load,so here's a few options for you, you could patch the image file of the game with a pal/ntsc patcher program(there's a link to one in my sig below) or you could use dvd loader beta 5.2 as that has a built in patcher, it also might be worth checking out the instruction manual for your tv(if you can find it) to see if you can change your tv between PAL and NTSC tv modes
