no, you need to either use a mod chip or a boot disc

you don't a boot disc needs to be pressed not burnt if you want it to self boot

well is there a way to use a boot disk that doesnt require to to rip the disk tray open with a platstic thingy. I'm not into screwing the mechanics of my PS2 up.
