Has anyone ever heard of a VFAPI Pluggin for TMPGEnc and where can I find it. I read in my instructions that I needed it installed with TMPGE to convert my DVD2AVI with TMPGEnc and the instructions said that I could download it from TMPGE's website but I could could not find it anywhere there. Your help would be most appreciated. Thanx...CANDY

Um...the VFAPI plugin should already be on your system if you got TMPGEnc. Go thru the menus at the top an' make sure you've checked "Register TMPGEnc to VFAPI" or somethin' like that. Yeah, DVD2AVI + TMPGEnc = Great DVD Copy. I've made about 100+ discs worth. Still, I can't get subtitles, no matter what prog I use. Got any ideas?

Syzygy....Have you tried going into the file section of Smart Ripper and checking some of the boxes that aren't default checked. Playing around in there helped me to figure out how to get rid of those annoying commentaries over the movie that a lot of the newer ones offer. I wonder if you could help me with this problem since you have been so successful with DVD2AVI to TMPGEnc...My problem is this...I have been ripping movies successfully for a few months now and have been encoding them with DVDx. I recently however encoded a movie where every 10 seconds the sound would cut out for a second so I decided to try DVD2AVI. When I went to use TMPEG on it, I could not find a video file. I then opened the file where I had stored the DVD2AVI files I had just created and found I had an Audio File (which by the way did not break up as it did with Dvdx) that TMPEG recognized but the video file was a .d2v which appeared in a file box with the "Windows Streamer Banner" in it and I cannot open it and like I said TMPEG does not recognize it. Do I need to download some kind of driver to open this file with before I try to use TMPEG? DVD2AVI is new to me and I could sure use some help. Please...anybody !?!?!?!?!
