Combining Matrix Infinity 1.35 w/ HDD + HDLoader/HDAdvance

Hey, i just bought a silver edition ps2 modded with the latest Matrix Infinity, and i'm pondering expanding this little contraption with a HDD and the according software.
Now, i have few questions 'bout that.

Is it possible to transfer PS2 iso's to the PS2 through the network adapter, or will i have to hookup the PS2's HDD to my computer? And, either way, what software do i require?

Can i play divx files from my harddrive? (I can play them from a disc, through my memorycard, so i'm guessing this will work with the HDD).

Can i transfer backups to the HDD using HDLoader?

If you guys know any good sites or forums, urls would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.
