I have just installed a Pioneer 108 DVD writer. I have tried to burn some data files to a DVD+R using Nero6. The DVD successfully burnt however, when I go to read the dvd, the files are listed, but my pc freezes whenever I try to open them. I tried to read the dvd in my laptop DVD drive and it works perfectly, yet I cannot read the dvd in the drive that wrote it!

I checked the DMA settings. It was initially on PIO (perhaps because of all the crashes), so I have uninstalled and rebooted all of the drivers. The drive is now running on DMA 2. I still cannot read the DVD.

An ideas?
