My swap magic 3.0 cd is acting crazy.

Everytime I try to load my swap magic 3.0 disc the screen turns glitchy and the ps2 freezes up. Sometimes it is worse but I have never been able to get to the insert disc screen. I get to a screen where I can select normal, PAL, NTSC and press x for normal load or square for special load. But no matter what i select from here it will freeze up. Wtf?

well now it just says disc read error. Great looks like that piece of shit is trash.

When you get to that screen you swap discs and then press x. Don't press x or square until you swap discs
Oh yeah can a mod change my status to member now about 110 posts.

you supposed to 'swap' for your ps2 cd backup at that screen (its a newer version and differs from the screens shown at swapmagicfix.com) ... or if you want to boot a dvd press EJECT at that screen and put in an original high TOC PS2DVD and when you see conformation on screen of "ps2dvd" press 'x' and wait for next screen and then 'swap' for your dvd backup

Ok i got the game to boot once. I'm trying to get hot shots golf fore working, and one time it booted the dvd froze. The swap magic disc wont even boot up now. I have to play with white dial behind laser inside ps2 for a while to get that booting again. Then it takes forever to get to load screen, then i have to load the cd loader, then swap out the cd loader for my swap magic dvd disk, then load my backed up dvd game. It is not even worth it so i am never goin to back up a game that requires the damn cd loader again.

Hey i l know this is off topic but does anyone know a good site to get cheap no solder modchips? (looking for the swap magic with slide)
OH AND does anyone know if you get the swap magic dics if you can play xbox games on your ps2?
