I've made several of my personal movies on DVD-R. Now I need to make a compilation of several VOBs from this ones to a new DVD. I erased the original avi files. I would like to take the vob files and put them to the new CD (preferable without demuxing or reencoding). I should also re-author the menus.
Which is the best/simplest way in your opinin
Thank you,
Daniel

I'm prettu sure I saw something on this in IfoEdit. You have to name the vobs

VTS_01_001.VOB
vtS_01_002.VOB
etc...

and you can join them. Each vob will be a new chapter.

If you want new chapter points you'll need to demux and re-author with chapters.

I have done sort of the same thing but I am still trying to work out some of the bugs. Take the vobs put them all in the same file. Rename them VTS_01_1 , VTS_01_2 and so on. Your chapters are in the vob itself. Using IFOEDIT choose the "Create IFOs" and create ifos to the same file. Now use IFOEDIT to strip them to another file making them into the necessary .99 gig files they need to be. Use IFOEDIT select "Get the VTS Sectors" your done. Now you burn this to a DVD.
