Hi I had an error 13 after trying to swap my saved games from a v1.4 to a v1.6. I've got an aladdin xt pro installed with (evox software which is about 1 year old). So then I read somewhere to swap files from a working xbox(which is a v1.4). In the end I ended up swapping the whole lot. Still works ok with chip on but still get error 21. Any ideas how i can fix this? My saved games still didnt work anyway :(

how exactly did you go about swapping the files?
unfortunately an error 21 is too generic.

could be a number of things. is the 1.6 xbox chipped?

and are you sure the drives have been unlocked?

Hi yes it is chipped. But I managed to download a dashboard similar to evox v2.6 then reinstall it to standard. But thanks for your help. What is the best way of transfering game saves? Thanks again. Karl

I have 2 xbox's by the way so i want to transfer my game saves from my black xbox to my crystal one. Then sell it. I just bought an action replay but it doesnt seem to be able to copy game saves.

im battling with the cheap option too.

i dont want to pay stupid money for an 8mb memcard from ms,

so ive tried using memorysticks instead.

they havent worked for me yet.

anyway, you need to load up FlashFXP and ftp into your xbox while the evox menu is showing.

the ip address is listed in the settings for evox change it or make note of it.

log in with xbox username and xbox password.

goto E\UDATA and TDATA and backup both those directories to your pc.

then repeat process with next xbox and copy those 2 folders to E

I did this but it was doing this that caused my code 13 originally, so it kinda puts me off doing it. But thanks for the advice

ok you need to get hold of an autoinstaller disc, boot off it, then ftp while THAT menu is runnning.

then backup what you can,

replace the hard drive
