RIGHT, I am using torrent storm to download bittorent files from surnova.org. The port that I am usinbf is 6881. My ISP in the UK in BT Yahoo BroardBand. The modem (which I think is also referred to as a router) is speedtouch 330.

I have tried inserting my ip address which is the same as my default gateway ip into the address window and when I click on return is just says that this page cannot be displayed. So I am in a real jam as I have a 1 MB connection But I can only download 20k at best when I am downloading a bittorrent file.

When I type in ipconfig/all in the cmd window (from the run option) it says the ip routing is not enabled which leads me to beleive that I can sort this problem out but only with the right help, so any suggestions from ppl who have dealt with this type of problem before would be very much appreciated.
