hi, im new to the forum. however i have read the gigantic tutorial on how to backup my games. i can get to the point in the process where at a red screen i am prompted to switch out pso 1 disc (within 10 seconds). i swap the disc for a different one and it says something about starting to stream. however, it never does anything after that point. i am using the gamecube server for riptool. i have also attempted using the latest phoenix with similar outcome. the comp is a winxp box with a realtek nic connected to the gc with a x-over cable. any ideas would be appreciated.

i'm an idiot. didnt have my firewall off.
