Hi
I cant download adapter 0 file referred to in the article.Site is closed.
Also,the encoding is very slow,2.4x as opposed to 15x with music match pro-is this simply because the quality is better etc.

The ripping of EAC is slow - everything is read and verified and if errors occur they are read a bunch more. Encoding is fairly slow (notice that the encoding takes place in a DOS box behind EAC) too, thats due to the much more careful and complex comression algorithms.

I tested the adapter downloads are they are ok.
