Help with burning .iso files

I used alcohol 120 to burn my .iso game file with the DNAS patch with it. I backed up the game (smackdown vs raw for ps2) and put a patch and used alcohol 120. When i put it in my ps2 it didn't work. I just got a black screen after the PS2 logo. Did I burn the .iso file wrong? Or should I put the .iso file in a separate folder or directory?

is DVD Decrypter also used for cd-burning? Like for burning cd-r dvd rips.
