Like i said i can burn cds etc. all perfectly fine, but this is a dvd burner (Lite-on LDW 411s (FSOK)) I've done some searching and have come to the conclusion that cheap cd-r media i have been using ruined the laser springs or something to that effect, and it does try really hard and you can hear something wierd when putting in a blank dvd, so before going out and probably buying a nec (because i hear only ones that can handle cheap media) any way to fix this?
