So i go to back this up and notice its only 200 something mb, easily fit on a cdr, while the game itself is a dvd rom, so i burn the image onto a cd and it doesn't work what exactly do i have to do?

not 100% on this but believe you will have to remove the dvd checks from the game and replace them with cd checks
