I hope someone can help me out!!
I have a version 4 PS2 and have just bought Swap Magic v3.00 to play my back-up games.
It boots fine but I get a red screen and it will not play the back-up.
I have tried creating DVD back-ups using:
Nero 6 and alcohol 120
DVD -R and +R
Various DVD Brands, Imation, Maxwell, Arita and Bulk paq
I know the games work as they play in a friend?s chipped machine.
I have read many other posts and tried all tips on offer but still coming up with nothing!!!
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Star Wars Bounty Hunter
Dave Mirra 2
Tony Hawk 4
Burnout 2
Thanks!

Okay,
I put in Swap Magic v3 into PS2 and Boots up and shows 'SWAP MAGIC 3' on screen with a star field background.
It then Loads up a menu with the options:
LOAD PROGRAM
VIDEO MODE: Normal, PAL, NTSC
SET=CHANGE LANGUAGE X=NORMAL BOOT [] = SPECIAL BOOT
I slide the tool in 2 inches from the left side and slide to the right until the tray pops open slightly.
I then pull the tray all the way out and replace the Swap Magic with my back-up copy.
Then I push the drawer back in all the way, slide in the tool 2 inches from the left side and slide to the right until the tray pops open slightly once again.
I move the tool slightly and push it to the right a tiny bit more then slide it back all the way to the left and the tray clicks closed again.
I then hit X to boot and the screen shows the star field background completely in red, the DVD spins and then clicks and jumps as though it is finding it hard to read the DVD and then it stops and then red and blue bars move up and down the corners of the screen and nothing happens!
I have tried this with all of my back ups with the same result. I have tried the special boot option and Normal, PAL and NTSC settings and nothing!!!!!
