I have all the files ready to burn, but when I get ready to burn on nero, I get an error saying the dvd file reallocation failed. I assume this is critical as I have yet to get this to burn properly. I have tried burning an image also with similar results. Is this something to do with Windows XP or IFO files?

Does it play from hard drive in ifoedit? If so, here's two suggestions:


1. See this post

Make sure you follow directions exactly, especially steps 12-14 for disc 1.

2. Don't use the latest version of Nero. People have had problems, especially burning to DVD+R. Try an earlier version.

If all else fails, you can write your DVD's in Nero with the Data DVD option, if your stand alone player supports it. Many will not support this filesystem, but my Daewoo does. I'm sure any Apex player would as well.
