can i fool the reading order of mps list?

It might be a dumb question but here goes:
My car is equipped with a Gamma audio cd player.I got hold of a mp3 shuttle for it as my cd player is a front loader. The problem is that now even idivided into files it doesn´t jump from file to file, it just reads all the ´mp3 files diectly. Meaning if I want to listen to the last file I´ll have to jump 100/200 mp3´s
before getting to the songs I want.
Is there a recording method to try and fool the reading method or is the Gamma version of blaubunkt just not capable to seperate the files?
